1 2 #1. Page 42, by inserting after line 20, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. 200. There is appropriated from the general
1 5 fund of the state to the state election fund of the
1 6 secretary of state, as established by the department
1 7 of management, for the fiscal period beginning July 1,
1 8 2002, and ending June 30, 2005, the following amount,
1 9 or so much thereof as is necessary, for implementation
1 10 of Pub. L. No. 107-252, the Help America Vote Act of
1 11 2002, to be expended in accordance with the plan
1 12 submitted by the governor to the federal election
1 13 assistance commission as established by Pub. L. No.
1 14 107-252, section 201, and to provide a match of the
1 15 federal appropriation allocated to Iowa pursuant to
1 16 Pub. L. No. 107-252:
1 17 .................................................. $ 1,500,000".
1 18 #2. Page 46, by inserting after line 30 the
1 19 following:
1 20 "10. Section 200, making an appropriation to the
1 21 state election fund of the secretary of state."
