1 1 Amend the amendment, H-1517, to House File 683, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 45 by inserting after line 5 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "b. That in transactions, except those subject to
1 6 paragraph "c", in which tangible personal property is
1 7 traded toward the purchase price of other tangible
1 8 personal property the purchase price is only that
1 9 portion of the purchase price which is payable in
1 10 money to the retailer if the following conditions are
1 11 met:
1 12 (1) The tangible personal property traded to the
1 13 retailer is the type of property normally sold in the
1 14 regular course of the retailer's business.
1 15 (2) The tangible personal property traded to the
1 16 retailer is intended by the retailer to be ultimately
1 17 sold at retail or is intended to be used by the
1 18 retailer or another in the remanufacturing of a like
1 19 item."
1 20 #2. Page 45, line 6, by striking the letter "b."
