1 1 Amend Senate File 433, as passed by the Senate, as

1 3 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 26 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "e. The department of economic development and the
1 6 department of cultural affairs shall work
1 7 cooperatively with national heritage areas located in
1 8 Iowa and designated by the United States Congress to
1 9 develop and implement a plan for purposes of enhancing
1 10 tourism in Iowa. By February 1, 2004, the department
1 11 of economic development and the department of cultural
1 12 affairs shall submit the plan to the standing
1 13 committees on economic growth in the senate and the
1 14 house of representatives."
