  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1215, to House File 598 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 15 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 692A.2A, subsections 2 and 3,
  1  6 Code 2003, are amended to read as follows:
  1  7    2.  A person shall not reside within two one
  1  8 thousand three hundred twenty feet of the real
  1  9 property comprising a public or nonpublic elementary
  1 10 or secondary school or a child care facility.
  1 11    3.  A person who resides within two one thousand
  1 12 three hundred twenty feet of the real property
  1 13 comprising a public or nonpublic elementary or
  1 14 secondary school, or a child care facility, commits an
  1 15 aggravated misdemeanor.
  1 16    Sec.    .  Section 692A.2A, subsection 4,
  1 17 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2003, is amended to read
  1 18 as follows:
  1 19    A person residing within two one thousand three
  1 20 hundred twenty feet of the real property comprising a
  1 21 public or nonpublic elementary or secondary school or
  1 22 a child care facility does not commit a violation of
  1 23 this section if any of the following apply:"
  1 24    #2.  Page 2, by inserting after line 24 the
  1 25 following:
  1 26    "Sec.    .  Section 692A.5, subsection 1, paragraph
  1 27 h, Code 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1 28    h.  Inform the person, if the person's residency is
  1 29 restricted under section 692A.2A, that the person
  1 30 shall not reside within two one thousand three hundred
  1 31 twenty feet of the real property comprising a public
  1 32 or nonpublic elementary or secondary school, or a
  1 33 child care facility."
  1 34    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
