  1  1    Amend House File 662, as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 22, by inserting after line 23 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 261.86, Code 2003, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  6.  Notwithstanding section 8.33,
  1  7 until one year after the date the president of the
  1  8 United States or the Congress of the United States
  1  9 declares a cessation of hostilities ending operation
  1 10 Iraqi freedom, funds appropriated for purposes of this
  1 11 section which remain unencumbered or unobligated at
  1 12 the close of the fiscal year for which the funds were
  1 13 appropriated shall not revert but shall be available
  1 14 for expenditure for the following fiscal year for
  1 15 purposes of this section."
