  1  1    Amend Senate File 390, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 34, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 331.237, subsection 3, Code
  1  6 2003, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    3.  If a charter is submitted to the electorate but
  1  8 is not adopted, another charter shall not be submitted
  1  9 to the electorate for two six years.  If a charter is
  1 10 adopted, it may be amended at any time.  If a charter
  1 11 is adopted, a proposed charter for another alternative
  1 12 form of county government shall not be submitted to
  1 13 the electorate for six years."
  1 14    #2.  Page 14, line 25, by striking the word "two"
  1 15 and inserting the following:  "six".
  1 16    #3.  Page 19, line 1, by striking the word "two"
  1 17 and inserting the following:  "six".
  1 18    #4.  By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
  1 19 internal references as necessary.
