  1  1    Amend House File 541 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 4 through 9 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "1.  The state registrar shall charge the parent a
  1  5 ten twenty dollar fee for the registration of a
  1  6 certificate of birth. and a".
  1  7    #2.  By striking page 1, line 34, through page 2,
  1  8 line 10 and inserting the following:
  1  9    "a.  It is the intent of the general assembly that
  1 10 of the funds generated from the registration fees ten
  1 11 dollars of each fee be appropriated and used for
  1 12 primary and secondary child abuse prevention programs
  1 13 and ten dollars of each fee be appropriated and used
  1 14 for the birth defects institute central registry
  1 15 established pursuant to section 136A.6."
