1 1 Section 1. Section 99E.10, subsection 1, paragraph a, Code
1 2 Supplement 2001, is amended to read as follows:
1 3 a. An amount equal to three-tenths of one percent of the
1 4 gross lottery revenue shall be deposited in a gambling
1 5 treatment fund in the office of the treasurer of state.
1 6 Moneys in the gambling treatment fund are appropriated to the
1 7 department of public health to operate the department's
1 8 gambling treatment program.
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill provides that moneys deposited in the gambling
1 11 treatment fund are appropriated to the department of public
1 12 health to operate the department's gambling treatment program.
