1 1 Section 1. Section 88.8, subsection 3, Code 2001, is
1 2 amended by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 3 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. The commissioner shall not be
1 4 required to reveal the identity of a witness who is an
1 5 employee of the employer involved in a hearing under this
1 6 subsection more than ten days in advance of the hearing.
1 7 EXPLANATION
1 8 This bill provides that the labor commissioner shall not be
1 9 required to reveal the identity of employee witnesses in a
1 10 hearing concerning occupational safety and health more than 10
1 11 days prior to the hearing.
