  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-8535, to House File
  1  2 2430, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 41 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 12, by striking lines 22 through 30
  1  7 and inserting the following:
  1  8    "Sec.    .  COMMISSION TRANSITION.  Effective
  1  9 November 1, 2002, the terms of all voting members of
  1 10 the mental health and developmental disabilities
  1 11 commission shall terminate.  The governor shall
  1 12 appoint voting members to the mental health and
  1 13 developmental disabilities commission for terms
  1 14 commencing November 1, 2002, to reflect the
  1 15 requirements of section 225C.5, as amended by this
  1 16 Act, including but not limited to the requirement for
  1 17 staggered terms.""
  1 18    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
