  1  2    #1.  Page 27, by inserting after line 14, the
  1  3 following:

  1  5          DEPARTMENT OF INSPECTIONS AND APPEALS
  1  6                   NURSING FACILITIES
  1  7    Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  135C.31A  MEDICATION
  1  8 REGIMEN – CONTINUITY OF CARE AND CLINICAL INTEGRITY.
  1  9    A nursing facility shall ensure that in
  1 10 transitioning a patient from private support to
  1 11 payment under chapter 249A, continuity of care and
  1 12 clinical integrity in the patient's medication regimen
  1 13 are considered."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
