  1  1    Amend House File 2515, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting before line 33, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 257.6, subsection 3, unnumbered
  1  6 paragraph 1, Code Supplement 2001, is amended to read
  1  7 as follows:
  1  8    A school district shall determine its additional
  1  9 enrollment because of special education, as defined in
  1 10 this section, by November December 1 of each year and
  1 11 shall certify its additional enrollment because of
  1 12 special education to the department of education by
  1 13 November December 15 of each year, and the department
  1 14 shall promptly forward the information to the
  1 15 department of management.
  1 16    Sec.    .  Section 257.6, subsection 5, unnumbered
  1 17 paragraph 1, Code Supplement 2001, is amended to read
  1 18 as follows:
  1 19    Weighted enrollment is the budget enrollment plus
  1 20 the district's additional enrollment because of
  1 21 special education calculated by November December 1 of
  1 22 the base year plus additional pupils added due to the
  1 23 application of the supplementary weighting."
  1 24    #2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 25 word "education" the following:  ", providing for
  1 26 related matters,".
  1 27    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
