  1  1    Amend Senate File 2146, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, line 4, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "coercion," the following:  "or to affect the conduct
  1  5 of a unit of government,".
  1  6    #2.  Page 2, by inserting after line 8 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  708A.1A  TERRORISM.
  1  9    A person who commits or attempts to commit an act
  1 10 of terrorism commits a class "B" felony.  However,
  1 11 notwithstanding section 902.9, subsection 2, the
  1 12 maximum sentence for a person convicted under this
  1 13 section shall be a period of confinement of not more
  1 14 than fifty years."
  1 15    #3.  Page 3, line 18, by striking the letters ""C"
  1 16 "B"" and inserting the following:  ""C"".
  1 17    #4.  Page 3, line 27, by striking the letters ""D"
  1 18 "C"" and inserting the following:  ""D"".
