  1  1    Amend Senate amendment, S-5087, to Senate File 2286
  1  2 as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 21, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "subsection." the following:  "However, if the person
  1  5 commits a sexually violent offense which is a
  1  6 misdemeanor offense under chapter 709, the person
  1  7 shall be sentenced to life in prison, with eligibility
  1  8 for parole as provided in chapter 906."
