  1  1    Amend House File 2191, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 5 through 10, and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "chapter.  However, this
  1  5 section shall not apply to a person performing a
  1  6 notarial act under performed by a judicial officer as
  1  7 defined in section 602.1101, if the notarial act is
  1  8 performed in accordance with state or federal
  1  9 statutory authority."
