  1  2    #1.  Page 4, line 16, by striking the word "three"
  1  3 and inserting the following:  "three one and one-
  1  4 half".
  1  5    #2.  Page 4, by striking lines 21 through 29.
  1  6    #3.  Page 7, by inserting after line 7, the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec.    .  Section 513C.3, subsection 14, Code
  1  9 2001, is amended by adding the following new
  1 10 paragraph:
  1 11    NEW PARAGRAPH.  d.  Loss of eligibility for the
  1 12 hawk-i program authorized in chapter 514I."
  1 13    #4.  Page 7, by inserting after line 20, the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "Sec.    .  Section 514E.1, subsection 6, Code
  1 16 Supplement 2001, is amended by adding the following
  1 17 new paragraph:
  1 18    NEW PARAGRAPH.  l.  The hawk-i program authorized
  1 19 by chapter 514I."
  1 20    #5.  Page 9, line 23, by adding after the word
  1 21 "contractor" the following:  "but who is not an
  1 22 exclusive insurance producer as defined in section
  1 23 522B.1".
  1 24    #6.  Page 11, line 3, by striking the words
  1 25 "requested by the named insured" and inserting the
  1 26 following:  "agreed upon by both the named insured and
  1 27 the insurer".

  1 36    #9.  Page 15, by inserting after line 27 the
  1 37 following:
  1 38    "Sec.    .  Section 519A.9, subsection 2,
  1 39 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2001, is amended to read
  1 40 as follows:
  1 41    Within fifteen days after July 1, 1975 the The
  1 42 commissioner shall designate a time and place for a
  1 43 meeting of the members of the association at which the
  1 44 eight elected members serving on the first board shall
  1 45 be elected.  The commissioner shall appoint the
  1 46 appointive members of the board on or before the date
  1 47 of such the meeting.
  1 48    Sec.    .  Section 522B.1, Code Supplement 2001, is
  1 49 amended by adding the following new subsection:
  1 50    NEW SUBSECTION.  2A.  "Exclusive insurance
  2  1 producer" means a licensed insurance producer whose
  2  2 contract with an insurer requires the insurance
  2  3 producer to act as an agent only for that insurer or a
  2  4 group of insurers under common ownership or control or
  2  5 other insurers authorized by that insurer."
  2  6    #10.  Page 15, line 30, by striking the figure
  2  7 "2003" and inserting the following:  "2004".
  2  8    #11.  By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
  2  9 internal references as necessary.
