  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 25, by striking the words "an
  1  3 appropriate" and inserting the following:  "a".

  1  5 inserting the following:  "into".
  1  6    #3.  Page 3, line 24, by inserting after the word
  1  7 "person" the following:  "who is detained pursuant to
  1  8 section 229A.5 or who is subject to an order of civil
  1  9 commitment under this chapter".
  1 10    #4.  Page 4, line 26, by inserting after the word
  1 11 "Transportation" the following:  "of a committed
  1 12 person".
  1 13    #5.  Page 4, line 28, by inserting after the word
  1 14 "confined" the following:  "if requested by the
  1 15 department of human services".
  1 16    #6.  Page 5, line 2, by inserting after the word
  1 17 "placement" the following:  "or treatment".

  1 30    "8.  The court shall retain jurisdiction over the
  1 31 committed person who has been released with or without
  1 32 supervision until the person is discharged from the
  1 33 program.  The department of human services shall not
  1 34 be held liable for any acts committed by a committed
  1 35 person who has been ordered released with or without
  1 36 supervision."
  1 37    #13.  Page 15, line 23, by inserting after the word
  1 38 "services" the following:  "or contracting agency".
  1 39    #14.  Page 16, line 10, by inserting after the word
  1 40 "shall" the following:  "receive release
  1 41 recommendations from the department of human services
  1 42 and".
  1 43    #15.  Page 18, line 16, by striking the word
  1 44 "persons" and inserting the following:  "persons a
  1 45 person that are incurred after the person is".
  1 46    #16.  Page 18, line 34, by inserting after the word
  1 47 "facility" the following:  "within the department of
  1 48 corrections".
  1 49    #17.  Page 19, line 21, by inserting after the word
  1 50 "committed" the following:  "before the filing of a
  2  1 petition under this chapter".
  2  2    #18.  Page 20 by inserting after line 28 the
  2  3 following:
  2  4    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed
  2  5 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
  2  6    #19.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  2  7 word "predators" the following:  ", and providing an
  2  8 effective date".
  2  9    #20.  By renumbering as necessary.
