1 2 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 13, the

1 4 " . For the department of human services for the
1 5 family investment program in 2001 Iowa Acts, chapter
1 6 191, section 4.
1 7 . For state unemployment compensation under
1 8 chapter 96.
1 9 . For legal services to persons in poverty
1 10 grants in 2001 Iowa Acts, chapter 186, section 1,
1 11 subsection 11, and for the state public defender in
1 12 2001 Iowa Acts, chapter 186, section 9, and for
1 13 payment of special court costs and attorney fees under
1 14 section 815.1.
1 15 . For payments authorized in accordance with
1 16 law by the state appeal board.
1 17 . For the statewide fire and police retirement
1 18 system in section 411.20, as limited by section 8.59.
1 19 . For the deferred compensation program
1 20 established for state employees under section 509A.12.
1 21 . For deposit in the school ready children
1 22 grants account of the Iowa empowerment fund in 2001
1 23 Iowa Acts, chapter 181, section 6, subsection 10."
1 24 #2. Page 3, line 29, by striking the figure
1 25 "4,000,000" and inserting the following: "2,200,000".
1 26 #3. Page 8, by inserting after line 31, the
1 27 following:
1 28 "Sec. ___. SALARY ADJUSTMENT FUND. The
1 29 appropriation made in section 455G.3, subsection 6,
1 30 paragraph "b", to the salary adjustment fund from the
1 31 unassigned revenue fund administered by the Iowa
1 32 comprehensive tank fund board is reduced by 4.3
1 33 percent. That appropriation shall be considered to be
1 34 an appropriation made from the general fund of the
1 35 state for purposes of the uniform reductions to
1 36 appropriations made pursuant to this division of this
1 37 Act or pursuant to any later enactment of the Seventy-
1 38 ninth General Assembly, 2002 Session, making a uniform
1 39 reduction to appropriations from the general fund of
1 40 the state for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001,
1 41 or pursuant to an executive order of the governor
1 42 issued after the effective date of this Act."
1 43 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
