  1  1    Amend Senate File 2048 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 22 and 23 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act takes effect
  1  5 thirty days following the date Polk county and the
  1  6 Polk county board of supervisors prevail in the action
  1  7 filed in Polk county district court entitled Master
  1  8 Builders of Iowa, Inc., Associated Building
  1  9 Contractors of Iowa Inc., The Des Moines Construction
  1 10 Council and the Associated General Contractors of Iowa
  1 11 v. Polk County and the Polk County Board of
  1 12 Supervisors."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
