  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-3613, to House File 742, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 11, by inserting after line 31 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    ""Sec. ___.  2001 Iowa Acts, House File 755,
  1  7 section 30, if enacted, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    SEC. 30.  Notwithstanding any contrary provision in
  1  9 section 455E.11, subsection 1, Code 2001, any
  1 10 unencumbered or unobligated cash balance in the
  1 11 groundwater protection fund and in any of the accounts
  1 12 within the groundwater protection fund on June 30,
  1 13 2001 not needed for expenditure in the fiscal year
  1 14 beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002,
  1 15 shall be transferred to the general fund of the
  1 16 state."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
  1 18 internal references as necessary.
