  1  1    Amend House File 745, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 20, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "areas." the following:  "Notwithstanding chapter 167,
  1  5 if an animal is determined to be or suspected of being
  1  6 infected or exposed, the animal shall be immediately
  1  7 destroyed and the animal's carcass disposed of by the
  1  8 department to prevent the transmission of the disease,
  1  9 but in no case more than twenty-four hours following
  1 10 the time that the animal is first determined to be or
  1 11 suspected of being infected or exposed."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
