  1  1    Amend House File 726, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 14, by inserting after line 26 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE
  1  6 PROGRAM – APPROPRIATION.  There is appropriated from
  1  7 the general fund of the state to the division of
  1  8 community action agencies of the department of human
  1  9 rights for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and
  1 10 ending June 30, 2002, the following amount, or so much
  1 11 thereof as necessary, to be used for the purpose
  1 12 designated:
  1 13    For the low-income home energy assistance program:  
  1 14 .................................................. $  9,452,170"
  1 15    #2.  Page 15, by inserting before line 2 the
  1 16 following:
  1 17    "Sec. 100.  Section 455G.3, Code 2001, is amended
  1 18 by adding the following new subsection:
  1 19    NEW SUBSECTION.  6.  There is appropriated from the
  1 20 unassigned revenue fund administered by the Iowa
  1 21 comprehensive petroleum underground storage tank fund
  1 22 board to the division of community action agencies of
  1 23 the department of human rights for the fiscal year
  1 24 beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001,
  1 25 three million dollars, to be used for the low-income
  1 26 home energy assistance program."
  1 27    #3.  Page 17, line 15, by inserting after the word
  1 28 "drugs," the following:  "and section 100 of this Act
  1 29 amending section 455G.3".
  1 30    #4.  Page 17, line 16, by striking the word "takes"
  1 31 and inserting the following:  "take".
