  1  1    Amend House File 519, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Section 1.  Section 236.10, subsection 3, Code
  1  6 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    3.  The Until a domestic abuse case is complete and
  1  8 the time for appeal has expired, the entire file or a
  1  9 portion of the file in a domestic abuse the case shall
  1 10 be closed to all but the court and its officers.
  1 11 After that time the entire file or a portion of the
  1 12 file shall be sealed by the clerk of court as ordered
  1 13 by the court to protect the privacy interest or safety
  1 14 of any person.  The clerk shall open the file upon
  1 15 application to and order of the court for good cause
  1 16 shown."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
