  1  1    Amend Senate File 429 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 476.96, Code 2001, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  3A.  "Essential facilities"
  1  7 includes essential facilities as defined in section
  1  8 476.100, subsection 2, and also includes all
  1  9 telecommunications facilities, features, functions, or
  1 10 capabilities of a local exchange carrier's network
  1 11 constituting network infrastructure investments
  1 12 required by section 476.97, subsection 11, paragraph
  1 13 "e", subparagraph (3), subparagraph subdivision (b)."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
