1 1 Amend Senate File 503 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 26, the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Section 455B.204, subsection 1, Code
1 5 2001, is amended by adding the following new paragraph
1 6 after paragraph a:
1 7 NEW PARAGRAPH. aa. "One-hundred-year floodplain"
1 8 means the land adjacent to a watercourse which may be
1 9 inundated by a flood, the magnitude of which has a one
1 10 percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any
1 11 year.
1 12 Sec. . Section 455B.204, subsection 2, Code
1 13 2001, is amended by adding the following new paragraph
1 14 after paragraph b:
1 15 NEW PARAGRAPH. bb. An animal feeding operation
1 16 structure shall not be constructed on land which is
1 17 located in a one-hundred-year floodplain."
1 18 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
