  1  1    Amend Senate File 375 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 56.6, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  5 c, Code 2001, is amended by striking the paragraph and
  1  6 inserting in lieu thereof the following:
  1  7    c.  A candidate's committee for a candidate in a
  1  8 special election shall file a report as follows:
  1  9    (1)  A candidate's committee for a candidate for
  1 10 the general assembly shall file a report by the
  1 11 fourteenth day prior to the special election that is
  1 12 current through the nineteenth day prior to the
  1 13 special election.  The committee shall also file a
  1 14 supplemental report if the committee meets the
  1 15 criteria under paragraph "b".
  1 16    (2)  A candidate's committee for a candidate for
  1 17 county elective office shall file a report by the
  1 18 Friday immediately preceding the special election that
  1 19 is current through the Tuesday prior to the special
  1 20 election."
  1 21    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
