  1  1    Section 1.  875 Iowa administrative code, rule 72.19, is
  1  2 nullified.
  1  3    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This joint resolution takes
  1  4 effect July 1, 2002.  
  1  5                           EXPLANATION
  1  6    This joint resolution nullifies an administrative rule of
  1  7 the labor services division of the department of workforce
  1  8 development governing limited-use, limited-application
  1  9 elevators.  The rule replaced an administrative rule which
  1 10 permitted the use of residential elevators in certain public
  1 11 buildings, such as a church, where the elevators are only used
  1 12 to transport a limited number of handicapped persons.
  1 13    The joint resolution takes effect July 1, 2002.
