  1  1    That the poem "Iowa", by Don Whattoff, is officially
  1  2 designated the state poem of Iowa.  The editor of the Iowa
  1  3 official register shall include the text of the poem "Iowa",
  1  4 in the section devoted to official state symbols.  
  1  5                           EXPLANATION
  1  6    This joint resolution designates the poem "Iowa", by Don
  1  7 Whattoff, as the official state poem of Iowa.  The resolution
  1  8 requires that the text of the poem be printed in the section
  1  9 of the Iowa official register which lists official state
  1 10 symbols.
