PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 483A.1, subsection 1, paragraph c, Code 1 2 Supplement 2001, is amended to read as follows: 1 3 c. Hunting license........................... $12.5017.00 1 4 Sec. 2. NEW SECTION. 483A.25 PHEASANT AND QUAIL 1 5 RESTORATION PROGRAM – APPROPRIATIONS. 1 6 The revenue received from the resident hunting license fee 1 7 increase in this Act for each fiscal year of the fiscal period 1 8 beginning July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2007, is 1 9 appropriated to the department. Of the amount appropriated to 1 10 the department pursuant to this section, at least sixty 1 11 percent shall be used to fund a pheasant and quail restoration 1 12 program. 1 13 EXPLANATION 1 14 This bill increases the resident hunting license fee by 1 15 $4.50 commencing July 1, 2002. An amount equal to the 1 16 resident hunting license fee increase in the bill for each 1 17 fiscal year of the fiscal period beginning July 1, 2002, and 1 18 ending June 30, 2007, is appropriated to the department and at 1 19 least 60 percent of the amount appropriated pursuant to the 1 20 bill shall be used to fund a pheasant and quail restoration 1 21 program. 1 22 LSB 6893HV 79 1 23 tj/cls/14
