1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 904.703A INMATES – MOTOR
1 2 VEHICLES.
1 3 An inmate may be permitted to wash a motor vehicle owned by
1 4 an employee of the department of corrections. If an inmate
1 5 washes a motor vehicle owned by an employee, the employee
1 6 shall pay a fee for the services performed by the inmate. The
1 7 department shall establish and collect such a fee. Any fee
1 8 collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the
1 9 department's training fund established in section 904.303A.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill permits an inmate at a correctional institution
1 12 to perform certain services for a fee.
1 13 The bill provides that an inmate may be permitted to wash a
1 14 motor vehicle owned by an employee of the department of
1 15 corrections for a fee. The bill provides that the department
1 16 of corrections shall establish such a fee, and that any moneys
1 17 collected shall be deposited in the department's training fund
1 18 established in Code section 904.303A.
