1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 100.1A BUILDING PLAN APPROVAL –
1 2 CONCLUSIVE EFFECT.
1 3 If the state fire marshal is required or requested to
1 4 approve the working plans and specifications of a building
1 5 construction project which the state fire marshal has
1 6 authority to review pursuant to rule, and the state fire
1 7 marshal approves the plans and specifications, the approval
1 8 shall be conclusive as to the compliance of the plans and
1 9 specifications with the building requirements within the state
1 10 fire marshal's scope of authority.
1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill provides that if the state fire marshal reviews
1 13 the plans and specifications of a building construction
1 14 project, approval by the state fire marshal shall be
1 15 conclusive as to the compliance of the project with the
1 16 building requirements within the state fire marshal's scope of
1 17 authority.
