1 1 Section 1. VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENT
1 2 PROGRAM. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, any
1 3 moneys remaining unobligated and unencumbered from moneys
1 4 appropriated to the department of economic development in 2001
1 5 Iowa Acts, chapter 185, section 25, subsection 2, are
1 6 appropriated and transferred to the department of education
1 7 for the community college vocational-technical technology
1 8 improvement program authorized in chapter 260A.
1 9 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act, being deemed of
1 10 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill appropriates to the department of education for
1 13 the community college vocational-technical technology
1 14 improvement program any moneys remaining unobligated and
1 15 unencumbered in the fiscal year 2001-2002 appropriation to the
1 16 department of economic development for accelerated career
1 17 education program capital projects at the community colleges.
1 18 The bill takes effect upon enactment.
