1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 261.6 MILITARY TRAINING PROGRAM
1 2 RECRUITERS – ACCESS TO CAMPUS.
1 3 Any community college, institution of higher learning under
1 4 the state board of regents, or accredited private institution
1 5 as defined in section 261.9, that is located in this state and
1 6 receives state moneys in accordance with programs established
1 7 pursuant to this chapter shall, upon the request of a
1 8 representative of a United States reserve officer training
1 9 corps, allow a recruiter for the corps access to its campus.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill provides United States reserve officer training
1 12 corps recruiters with access to the campus of any community
1 13 college, regents university, or accredited private
1 14 postsecondary institution in this state that receives state
1 15 moneys through financial aid programs administered by the
1 16 college student aid commission.
