  1  1    Section 1.  2000 Iowa Acts, chapter 1189, section 33, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    SEC. 33.  LEGISLATIVE INTENT.  It is the intent of the
  1  4 general assembly that the general assembly consider the
  1  5 proposed uniform computer information transactions Act, as
  1  6 adopted by the national conference of commissioners on uniform
  1  7 state laws, during the 2001 2002 regular session.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill amends the 2000 Iowa Acts to provide that it is
  1 10 the intent of the general assembly to consider the proposed
  1 11 uniform computer information transactions Act in the 2002
  1 12 regular legislative session, rather than the 2001 regular
  1 13 legislative session.
