  1  1    Section 1.  Section 15A.1, subsection 3, Code 2001, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  3    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  The business has not hired permanent
  1  4 replacement employees during a labor dispute within the last
  1  5 ten years.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill provides that a state agency shall not provide a
  1  8 grant, loan, or other public assistance to a business that has
  1  9 hired permanent replacement employees during a labor dispute
  1 10 within the last 10 years.
