1 1 Section 1. COUNTY SIGN REPLACEMENT. The state department
1 2 of transportation shall conduct an analysis of the condition,
1 3 readability, and adequacy of size of general information signs
1 4 which mark county lines and which are currently posted along
1 5 interstate highways in the state. The department shall
1 6 replace such signs that do not meet reasonable readability and
1 7 size standards or that are in poor condition.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill directs the state department of transportation to
1 10 conduct an analysis of the condition, readability, and
1 11 adequacy of size of general information signs which mark
1 12 county lines and which are currently posted along interstate
1 13 highways in the state. The bill also directs the department
1 14 to replace such signs that do not meet reasonable readability
1 15 and size standards or that are in poor condition.
