1 2 MATERIALS.
1 3 Any written material, including web sites, designed,
1 4 produced, or distributed by the department for purposes of
1 5 promoting the state in an attempt to recruit new business
1 6 shall include a statement regarding the right-to-work law
1 7 contained in section 731.1.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill provides that any written material, including web
1 10 sites, designed, produced, or distributed by the department
1 11 for purposes of promoting the state in an attempt to recruit
1 12 new business shall include a statement regarding the right-to-
1 13 work law contained in Code section 731.1. The right-to-work
1 14 law states that a person shall not be deprived of the right to
1 15 work at the person's chosen occupation for any employer
1 16 because of membership in, affiliation with, withdrawal or
1 17 expulsion from, or refusal to join, any labor union,
1 18 organization, or association.
