  1  1    Amend House File 2626 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Notwithstanding anything to the
  1  5 contrary in chapter 455G, there is appropriated from
  1  6 the Iowa comprehensive petroleum underground storage
  1  7 tank fund to the state department of transportation
  1  8 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and ending
  1  9 June 30, 2003, the following amounts, or so much
  1 10 thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes
  1 11 designated:
  1 12    1.  For the operation and maintenance of the
  1 13 network of automated weather observation and data
  1 14 transfer systems associated with the Iowa aviation
  1 15 weather system:  
  1 16 .................................................. $    110,000
  1 17    2.  For the runway marking program for public
  1 18 airports:  
  1 19 .................................................. $    100,000
  1 20    3.  For the windsock program for public airports:  
  1 21 .................................................. $     12,000
  1 22    4.  For the aviation improvement program:  
  1 23 .................................................. $    278,000"
  1 24    #2.  Title page, line 4, by inserting after the
  1 25 words "tax fund" the following:  ", the Iowa
  1 26 comprehensive petroleum underground storage tank
  1 27 fund,".
