1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 13, the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. 100. Section 441.21, Code Supplement 2001,
1 6 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 7 NEW SUBSECTION. 13. Beginning with valuations
1 8 established on or after January 1, 2003, confinement
1 9 feeding operation structures, as defined in section
1 10 455B.161, which are required to be issued a
1 11 construction permit pursuant to section 455B.200A, and
1 12 the land containing the structures, shall be valued as
1 13 commercial property and shall be assessed at the same
1 14 percentage of actual value as is all other commercial
1 15 property."
1 16 #2. Page 68, by inserting after line 23, the
1 17 following:
1 18 "Sec. . APPLICABILITY. Section 100 of this
1 19 Act, enacting section 441.21, subsection 13, applies
1 20 to assessment years beginning on or after January 1,
1 21 2003."
1 22 #3. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 23 word "for" the following: "tax assessments and".
1 24 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
