  1  1    Amend Senate File 2293, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 18, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  455B.191A  CONTAMINATION
  1  6 OF WATER SUPPLY – LIABILITY.
  1  7    In addition to payment of any applicable penalty
  1  8 under this chapter or other provision of law, a person
  1  9 who causes the contamination of a private water supply
  1 10 or public water supply system to the extent that
  1 11 potable water cannot be provided to the users of the
  1 12 private water supply or public water supply system
  1 13 shall be liable for all costs associated with the
  1 14 testing and repair of the water system and the costs
  1 15 associated with providing potable water to the users
  1 16 of the private water supply or public water supply
  1 17 system while the water system is contaminated."
  1 18    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
