  1  1    Amend House File 2623 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "fund" the following:  "and other moneys transferred
  1  4 or appropriated to the salary adjustment fund in this
  1  5 Act".
  1  6    #2.  Page 1, line 23, by striking the figure
  1  7 "$30,000,000" and inserting the following:
  1  8 "$55,000,000".
  1  9    #3.  Page 4, line 3, by striking the words and
  1 10 figure ", not to exceed $18,000,000,".
  1 11    #4.  Page 4, line 20, by striking the words and
  1 12 figure ", not to exceed $2,970,000,".
  1 13    #5.  Page 6, by inserting after line 10 the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "Sec.    .  ECONOMIC EMERGENCY FUND APPROPRIATION.
  1 16 There is appropriated from the Iowa economic emergency
  1 17 fund created in section 8.55 to the salary adjustment
  1 18 fund for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and
  1 19 ending June 30, 2003, the following amount:  
  1 20 .................................................. $ 12,500,000
  1 21    Moneys appropriated in this section are declared to
  1 22 be appropriated for emergency expenditures as required
  1 23 in section 8.55, subsection 3, paragraph "a".
  1 24    Sec.    .  UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK FUND.
  1 25 Notwithstanding section 455G.3, subsection 1, there is
  1 26 transferred from the Iowa comprehensive petroleum
  1 27 underground storage tank fund created in section
  1 28 455G.3, subsection 1, to the salary adjustment fund
  1 29 during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, and
  1 30 ending June 30, 2003, the following amount:  
  1 31 .................................................. $ 12,500,000"
