  1  1    Amend House File 2623 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 17, by inserting after line 16 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 249A.4, subsection 7, Code
  1  5 2001, is amended by adding the following new
  1  6 unnumbered paragraph:
  1  7    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  Advanced registered
  1  8 nurse practitioners licensed pursuant to chapter 152
  1  9 shall be regarded as approved providers of health care
  1 10 services, including primary care pursuant to chapter
  1 11 152, for purposes of managed care or prepaid services
  1 12 contracts under the medical assistance program."
