  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by striking lines 9 through 12 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "The moneys appropriated in this paragraph "b"
  1  5 shall comprise no more than 15 percent of the total
  1  6 costs of construction of, and purchasing equipment
  1  7 for, the facility.
  1  8    3A.  IOWA TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY
  1  9 COMMISSION
  1 10    For conversion of the Iowa communications network
  1 11 to asynchronous transfer mode technology:

  1 16    The appropriation in this subsection is contingent

  1 19 network test bed.  The Iowa telecommunications and
  1 20 technology commission shall notify the Code editor and
  1 21 the department upon such certification."
