  1  1    Amend House File 2614 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 18, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  IOWA TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY
  1  5 COMMISSION.
  1  6    1.  There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
  1  7 infrastructure fund to the Iowa telecommunications and
  1  8 technology commission for the fiscal period beginning
  1  9 July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2005, the following
  1 10 amounts, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be
  1 11 used for the purpose designated, notwithstanding
  1 12 section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph "c":
  1 13    For conversion of the Iowa communications network
  1 14 to asynchronous transfer mode technology:  
  1 15 FY 2002-2003 ..................................... $  1,770,600
  1 16 FY 2003-2004 ..................................... $  1,770,600
  1 17 FY 2004-2005 ..................................... $  1,770,600
  1 18    2.  REVERSION.  Notwithstanding section 8.33,
  1 19 moneys appropriated in this section shall not revert
  1 20 at the close of the fiscal year for which they were
  1 21 appropriated, but shall remain available for the
  1 22 purposes designated until the close of the fiscal year
  1 23 that begins July 1, 2006, or until the project for
  1 24 which the appropriation was made is completed,
  1 25 whichever is earlier."
  1 26    #2.  By renumbering, redesignating, and correcting
  1 27 internal references as necessary.
