  1  1    Amend Senate File 2190, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 29 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 85.34, Code 2001, is amended by
  1  6 adding the following new subsection:
  1  7    NEW SUBSECTION.  7.  REINSTATEMENT TO WORK.  An
  1  8 employee who has suffered an injury which is
  1  9 compensable under this chapter or chapter 85A shall
  1 10 not have the employee's employment terminated by the
  1 11 employee's employer as a result of the injury.  If an
  1 12 employee suffers a permanent partial disability under
  1 13 this chapter or chapter 85A, the employer shall return
  1 14 the employee to work performing duties that shall be
  1 15 consistent with any restrictions on the employee as a
  1 16 result of the disability."
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
