  1  1    Amend House File 2561 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 41, by inserting after line 35 the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4                      "DIVISION    
  1  5                  MANAGED CARE CONTRACT
  1  6    Sec.    .  Section 249A.26, subsection 1, Code
  1  7 Supplement 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    1.  The state shall pay for one hundred percent of
  1  9 the nonfederal share of the services paid for under
  1 10 any prepaid mental health services plan for medical
  1 11 assistance implemented by the department as authorized
  1 12 by law.  The contract for such a plan in effect as of
  1 13 July 1, 2002, shall not be extended or continued
  1 14 beyond June 30, 2004, without express statutory
  1 15 authorization."
  1 16    #2.  Title page, line 5, by inserting after the
  1 17 word "appeals," the following:  "limiting the contract
  1 18 period for a prepaid mental health services plan,".
  1 19    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
