1 1 Amend House File 2553 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 901.5, Code Supplement 2001,
1 5 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 14. If the court defers judgment
1 7 or sentence or suspends the sentence, the court may
1 8 order as a condition of probation that the defendant
1 9 be subjected to searches under the same circumstances
1 10 and procedures that apply to parolees under section
1 11 906.4."
1 12 #2. Page 1, lines 4 and 5, by striking the words
1 13 "A person may voluntarily agree to" and inserting the
1 14 following: "The board as".
1 15 #3. Page 1, lines 5 and 6, by striking the words
1 16 "that requires the person to" and inserting the
1 17 following: "may require a person".
1 18 #4. Page 1, line 9, by striking the words "officer
1 19 as a condition of parole or work release" and
1 20 inserting the following: "officer".
1 21 #5. By renumbering as necessary.
