1 3 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 20 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "4. STATE REIMBURSEMENT. If a public contracting
1 6 entity entered into a nonqualifying agreement prior to
1 7 the effective date of this Act, and the public
1 8 contracting entity rescinds or modifies that agreement
1 9 in order to receive moneys from the vision Iowa fund,
1 10 the state shall reimburse the public contracting
1 11 entity for all costs incurred by the public
1 12 contracting entity due to the completion of the public
1 13 works project beyond the time period that was
1 14 originally specified in the nonqualifying agreement.
1 15 For purposes of this subsection, a nonqualifying
1 16 agreement is an agreement that does anything specified
1 17 in subsection 2."
