  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 11 and 12, and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "company, or estate or
  1  5 trust".
  1  6    #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 18 and 19, and
  1  7 inserting the following:  "or estate or trust.  For".
  1  8    #3.  Page 2, by striking lines 30 and 31 and
  1  9 inserting the following:  "limited liability company,
  1 10 or".
  1 11    #4.  Page 3, by striking lines 2 and 3 and
  1 12 inserting the following:  "or estate or trust."
  1 13    #5.  Page 3, by inserting after line 3, the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "Sec. 500.  Section 15E.193B, subsection 6,
  1 16 paragraph b, Code 2001, is amended to read as follows:
  1 17    b.  Sales, services, and use tax refund for taxes
  1 18 paid by an eligible business including an eligible
  1 19 business acting as a contractor or subcontractor, as
  1 20 provided in section 15.331A."
  1 21    #6.  Page 5, by striking lines 16 and 17, and
  1 22 inserting the following:  "or estate or trust".
  1 23    #7.  Page 5, by striking lines 22 through 24, and
  1 24 inserting the following:  "corporation, limited
  1 25 liability company, or estate or trust."
  1 26    #8.  Page 7, by striking lines 8 through 29.
  1 27    #9.  Page 12, by striking line 5, and inserting the
  1 28 following:
  1 29    "Sec.    .  RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY.
  1 30    1.  Section 500 of this Act, being deemed of
  1 31 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment and
  1 32 is retroactively applicable to July 1, 1998.
  1 33    2.  With the exception of section 500 of this Act,
  1 34 this Act is".
  1 35    #10.  Title page, lines 1 and 2, by striking the
  1 36 words "a retroactive applicability date" and inserting
  1 37 the following:  "effective date and retroactive
  1 38 applicability date provisions".
  1 39    #11.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 40 and correcting internal references as necessary.
