1 2 #1. By striking everything after the enacting
1 3 clause and inserting the following:
1 4 "Section 1. There is appropriated from the general
1 5 fund of the state to the designated entities for the
1 6 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June
1 7 30, 2002, the following amounts to be used for the
1 8 purposes designated:
1 9 1. To the department of human services for use in
1 10 the HAWK-I program:
1 11 .................................................. $ 1,707,951
1 12 2. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 13 childhood immunizations:
1 14 .................................................. $ 160,618
1 15 3. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 16 child and adolescent wellness:
1 17 .................................................. $ 167,918
1 18 4. To the Iowa department of public health for
1 19 community capacity:
1 20 .................................................. $ 182,520
1 21 5. To the department of workforce development for
1 22 rural workforce development offices:
1 23 .................................................. $ 1,780,993
1 24 The appropriations made in this section are in
1 25 addition to appropriations made in other Acts for the
1 26 designated purposes.
1 27 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE PROVISION. This Act takes
1 28 effect only if the revenue estimating conference
1 29 estimates that, as a result of the enactment of
1 30 federal income tax legislation prior to January 1,
1 31 2002, Iowa income tax receipts for the fiscal year
1 32 beginning July 1, 2001, will be increased by $7.9
1 33 million or more over the amount of Iowa income tax
1 34 receipts which would have been realized in the absence
1 35 of the enactment of such federal income tax
1 36 legislation."
1 37 #2. Title page, by striking lines 1 through 8, and
1 38 inserting the following: "An Act making
1 39 appropriations to the departments of human services,
1 40 workforce development, and public health and including
1 41 a contingent effective date provision."
